History
The club was formed in 1983 and since that time has been an integral part of village life. The catchment area for the club includes Crawley, Horley, East Grinstead, Edenbridge, Oxted and even up to south London. The male female membership split around 50:50. The age range extends from 20 to over 70. We are an adult running club (18 and above) and do not run a junior section.
The original home for the club was Lingfield Leisure Club. In 2008, the club moved to the Lingfield Victoria Sports & Social Club which is located in the middle of the village. This is where we meet and socialise over a drink in the bar.
Types of runs
Groups run on a number of days of the week. Distances normally vary between 3 and 12 miles. The table below gives a rough guide of the types of run over a typical week. On weekdays in the winter, we run a couple of routes around the village under streetlights. In the summer, things take a turn for the better with the north Surrey countryside on our doorstep.

The clubhouse
Since the summer of 2008 our home has been the Victoria Sports & Social Club (VSSC) which is located in the heart of the village. The club serves the village through hosting a number of clubs aside from ourselves. The beer and other drinks are cheap compared to pub prices.
